Born and raised in Leduc, I have somersaulted, front-tucked and cartwheeled my way around the world and back… and I am proud to have firmly ‘stuck’ my ‘landing’ here in beautiful Leduc. Having lived on Edmonton’s front doorsteps for most of my life, I have had the advantages of utilizing the ‘Big City’ for finding amazing new restaurants, shopping and yet, enjoyed the perks of living in a ‘Small Town’. I love nothing more than retreating to one of Leduc’s beautifully maintained green spaces or parks, for an impromptu afternoon of throwing a ball with my pup and catching up with all my busy friends.
Growing up I was heavily involved in Gymnastics. I have been a professional gymnast for much of my formative and young adult years. I put my heart and soul into Gymnastics growing up and I have even toured Europe, Ukraine, USA and Canada extensively for various competitions. My greatest accomplishment was being on the Canadian National Gymnastics Team!
Professionally, my first job, post-University, was as a Mortgage Specialist. I started my career as a Mortgage Specialist, in 2007. I have found this to be an invaluable tool in helping to advise my clients on all facets of their Home Purchase.
The catalyst for me getting into Real Estate was my own personal first-home purchase; it was the biggest, most important purchase of my life to date and the experience could not have been more convoluted; I was completely in the dark, the whole way through! I felt very strongly that no one else should have to go through the same tornado of confusion that I did and I made it my mission to educate and inform my Buyers in a way that I never was; it was the perfect example of ‘what not to do’. I take great pride in the fact that my clients say that one of my best assets is my ‘transparency’; the minute I know something ‘new’, my clients also know!
This all lead me into Design, which has always been my passion. Through viewing thousands of homes throughout my Real Estate career I gained insight and invaluable lessons. From Designing Floor Plans, working with Architects and Vendors for Sample Selections to the Finishing Line of Decorating the Space, this has been one of the most enjoyable parts of my Life.
When I’m not on the go with my clients, I’m ‘Liv’-ing it up with my family, friends and adorable puppy! I always enjoy taking a reprieve from the Cold Weather of Alberta, in some gorgeous tropical locale; none more picturesque than gorgeous Barbados, a place that I have been many, many times before and a place I will go many times more!
